Privacy at BetMica

Last updated: September 30, 2026

This page sets out what personal data BetMica collects, why we collect it, and how long we keep it. It is written for UK players and covers registration, identity checks, card payments, crypto transactions and your rights over your own data.

Data we collect at registration

When you open an account with BetMica, we ask for the basics: full name, date of birth, email address, mobile number and a password. Date of birth is mandatory because our games are restricted to players aged 18 and over. We also record the country you're registering from, since payment methods and support language depend on it.

Beyond the sign-up form, our systems automatically log technical data: IP address, device type, browser version and session timestamps. This is standard for any online platform and helps us spot unusual account activity, such as a login from an unrecognised location, before it becomes a problem.

Identity verification

Before a first withdrawal, or when account activity triggers a review, we may ask for proof of identity (passport, driving licence) and proof of address (a recent utility bill or bank statement). This is a standard anti-fraud and anti-money-laundering step used across the online casino sector, not a BetMica-specific hurdle. Documents are reviewed by our verification team and stored securely, accessible only to staff who need them to process your account.

Why we ask for this

  • Confirming you are 18 or over before any real-money play
  • Matching the name on your payment method to your account
  • Preventing duplicate accounts and bonus abuse
  • Meeting the fraud-prevention standards our payment partners require

Payment data: cards and crypto

BetMica supports Visa, Mastercard, Bank Transfer, and crypto deposits via Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and Tether (USDT). The two payment rails involve different data handling, and it's worth understanding the split.

Card payments are processed through our payment gateway partners. BetMica does not store full card numbers on its own servers. What we retain is transaction metadata: amount, date, last four digits, and approval status, so we can reconcile deposits and investigate disputes if they arise.

Crypto transactions work differently. Wallet addresses used to send or receive Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin or Tether are recorded against your account so that withdrawals reach the correct destination and so we can trace deposits on the relevant blockchain. Blockchain transactions are public by nature, but BetMica does not publish or share your wallet address beyond what's needed to process the payment.

How long we keep your data

Account and transaction records are retained for as long as your account is active, plus a further period after closure to satisfy anti-fraud and financial reconciliation needs. Identity documents submitted for verification are kept only as long as necessary for that purpose and are not reused for marketing or shared with unrelated third parties. If you close your account permanently, you can request deletion of data that we are not otherwise required to retain.

Who can see your data

Access to player data is limited to the teams that need it: account verification, payments, customer support and fraud prevention. We share data with payment processors and blockchain analysis tools only to the extent required to complete a transaction or meet fraud-checking obligations. BetMica does not sell player data to third parties.

Your rights as a player

  • Request a copy of the personal data we hold on your account
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate details, such as a misspelled name or old email
  • Request deletion of data we're not legally or operationally required to keep
  • Withdraw marketing consent at any time without affecting your ability to play
  • Ask how a specific decision about your account, such as a verification hold, was reached

To exercise any of these rights, contact our support team through live chat or email, available 24/7. We aim to respond to data requests promptly, though identity verification may be required first, precisely to stop someone else from requesting your data on your behalf.

Cookies and session data

BetMica uses cookies to keep you logged in, remember your language and display preferences, and understand how players navigate the site so we can fix broken flows. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling essential ones may prevent parts of the site, like the cashier, from working properly.

Data security

Player data is encrypted in transit and access to sensitive records is restricted by role. No online platform can guarantee absolute security, but we treat account credentials, payment metadata and identity documents as the most sensitive data we hold and handle them accordingly.

Responsible gambling and data

If you set deposit limits, self-exclude, or reach out through our responsible gambling tools, that activity is recorded against your account so limits are actually enforced. Players who want independent support alongside our own tools can contact GamCare on 0808 8020 133 (https://www.gamcare.org.uk/) or BeGambleAware (https://www.begambleaware.org/). Play is restricted to players aged 18 and over.
